Description

A Journey to the Center of the Earth follows a German professor who holds the belief that there exist volcanic tunnels leading deep into the Earth’s core. Together with his nephew Axel and their guide Hans, they embark on a series of thrilling escapades, encountering prehistoric creatures and natural perils along the way.

Around the World in Eighty Days narrates the story of Phileas Fogg, a resident of London, and his newly hired French valet, Passepartout, as they endeavor to circle the globe in just 80 days, as part of a £20,000 wager set by Fogg’s acquaintances at the Reform Club.

From the Earth to the Moon recounts the tale of the president of a post-American Civil War gun club in Baltimore, his rival, an armor manufacturer from Philadelphia, and a Frenchman, who collaborate to construct an enormous skyward-facing Columbiad space gun and launch themselves toward the Moon.

The Mysterious Island depicts the adventures of five Americans stranded on an uncharted island in the South Pacific. The narrative commences during the American Civil War, amid the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the Confederate States of America’s capital. As scarcity and death afflict the city, five Northern prisoners of war opt for an unconventional escape method – hijacking a balloon.
