Sa vie ressemblait \u00e0 une aventure romanesque. Son personnage le plus c\u00e9l\u00e8bre, Figaro, appara\u00eet dans deux de ses com\u00e9dies, \u00ab\u00a0Le Barbier de S\u00e9ville\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0Le Mariage de Figaro\u00a0\u00bb. Figaro, tout comme Beaumarchais lui-m\u00eame, \u00e9tait audacieux, insolent, et n&rsquo;acceptait pas les conventions de l&rsquo;\u00e9poque.<\/p>\n<p>En 1784, la pi\u00e8ce \u00ab\u00a0Le Mariage de Figaro\u00a0\u00bb est jou\u00e9e \u00e0 la Com\u00e9die-Fran\u00e7aise, provoquant l&rsquo;une des premi\u00e8res \u00e9meutes de la R\u00e9volution fran\u00e7aise. Figaro incarne le refus de la servitude, d\u00e9fie son ma\u00eetre, et plaide pour l&rsquo;\u00e9galit\u00e9. La pi\u00e8ce attaque la religion, l&rsquo;aristocratie, et la monarchie, bafouant les normes \u00e9tablies.
