Description
Robinson Crusoe, originally named « Kreutznaer, » defies his parents’ desires for a legal career, opting instead for a seafaring life. His tumultuous journey unfolds with shipwrecks, enslavement by Salé pirates, and subsequent captivity under a Moor. After a daring escape with a boy named Xury, he finds refuge on a Portuguese ship bound for Brazil. Selling Xury to the captain, Crusoe secures help in establishing a plantation in Brazil, marking a new chapter in his adventurous life.
